1963 - August 8, Founder and Honorary Chairman Mr. Lee, Ke-Chun, found the company. Major product was 16, 17, and 19 inches black and white TV sets and pioneered the first wooden door model for Taiwan market.

1976 - Technologically cooperated with Japan Mitsubishi Electric Company for production of TV sets in Taiwan, refrigerators, air conditioners, washers, and dehumidifiers, then later on, in 1987, invested in Kolin. Commenced production of home electrical products including air conditioners and refrigerators, under technical cooperation with Kelvinator International Corp. from the United States.

1984 - Kolin refrigerator won the Minister of Economic Affairs Award, while, air conditioner won the QC Group Award from the Quality Control Council.

1995 - The grand opening of the Kolin Commercial Building, the company headquarters. Establishment of Kolin Philippines International, Inc.

At present - KOLIN has become a household name in Taiwan. It is the leading appliance brand name.
